Key Stage 1 & 2
Splatt Theatre invites your children to travel back in time to ‘Victorian School’. They will experience school life and etiquette, whilst being captivated by Victorian characters and singing along to a ‘Splattering’ of Victorian Music Hall classics.
What the experience includes:
- Content designed and written by Splatt Theatre, to cover the curriculum thematically through literacy, drama, speaking & listening, history and SMSC.
- Two professionally trained actors in character for the entirety of the workshop.
- Your children will learn rules, punishments and values upheld in a Victorian school.
- A lesson in Victorian etiquette and elocution.
- Interactive Storytelling – told through the eyes of a Victorian child and teacher, introducing ideas such as child poverty, hardship and loss.

Location
Splatt Theatre will come directly to your school and all we will require access to is a school hall/library or a room of a similar size, however we will do our upmost to work around the space you have.
