Splatt Theatre’s Midsummer Night’s Dream is tailor-made for young children. We introduce your children to magical fairy characters, who they’ll meet and recognise in all other tales they ever come across. Our performances focuses upon the stories of the fairies; Mischievous Puck, naughty Peaseblossom, the funniest feud in any play ever – between Titania and Oberon and finally, the silliest love story ever between Titania and Bottom. Put this all together with puppetry, music, song, lots of audience participation…and what do you get? A splattering of Shakespearean mayhem, mischief and magic!
Our performances are perfect for World Book Week, Storytelling Week, Library Openings, and any other celebrations.
What the experience includes
- Content that has been designed and written by SPLATT Theatre Company to cover the EYFS and KS1 curriculum thematically (EYFS: Communication & language, literacy, Understanding the World KS1: Literacy, drama, speaking & listening, and PSHE.)
